Magnum Research as a company is horrible I ordered ....
2 magazines 3 months ago and still have not got them.
Called 45 days ago and they said they were moving and would ship them out in a few weeks LOL
I also ordered a recoil kit and don't expect that either.
They are the worst company to deal with and they really could care less about there customers.
I have delt with sig, bushmaster and countless other's as far as parts and such and never a problem till I tried to deal with them jokers and all they keep saying is ,
were moving and don't have time top ship parts out till they get settled.
Well I guess maybe in 2010 they will start shipping parts to there customers and mean time just shelf the gun.
They need help desperatly and I would not spend a dime more with them after this fiasko of caca.
Hope whoever thinks about dealing with them has years to wait :)
I've never ordered anything from a manufacturer for any of my guns because I don't like paying their markup.

I agree but try and find a recoil kit or mags for one somewhere else ,
its not happening !!
You should cancel your order and buy from somewhere else, Magnum Research charges way too much for what they sell anyways. You can find the recoil kit for 1/2 the price at Falcon Arms. I'm not sure if they fixed it or not, but after I placed my order they took 1/2 off the shipping charge.

yes sir already told them that ,
will try falcon arms today and see
thanks for the leed .
I bought 4 factory 44 DE mags on our EE a while back for half price. I buy parts here and there when I find a good deal.
I called them yesterday for a replacement set of grip screws for a set of Hogue grips I have and the rep told me they would ship out same day free of charge. Today I ordered a different set of Hogue rubber grips since MRI is the only place with them in stock and the rep told me they would ship out today via FedEx.
Funny though, I asked yesterday how long it would take them to ship a set of grips I was told 7-10 days. Since I couldn't find any of the same grips in stock anywhere I called back today and asked the same question and was told they would ship same day

Oh well...I'll have my new grips in a few days i'm happy.
I've dealt with MRI 3 times now and have been very pleased with the service each time

I bought a couple of mags from
Desert Eagle Pro not long ago and received them a week or so later. I don't see recoil springs listed there, but you might call them and see if they have anything in stock.
I also recently bought a new mag on gunbroker for about half price.
Huh when i ordered some part for my Mk XIX from MRI it went really smooth. They even gave me a call when one of the parts was back ordered and let me know they were shipping the parts as they came in. However it has been about 3 years...
yeah thats weird! when i orderes the hogue grips for my BDE they got here in like 5 days! transaction was perfect! hop everything works out for you man!

I called them about baby desert eagle parts and they were NOT helpful, plus rude about it.
Luckily, Magnum Research just lost Baby Eagle to Charles Daly Defense (who make a great AR-15 BTW).
Try magpul. I've had cores for 2 magpul grips on order since 01/04/09.
Does suck that they can't get you a recoil kit though, at least you can find some aftermarket mags for your DE if it came to it.

Yeah they say they are backlogged and thats hard to believe and yes rude as can be and I hope they go out of buisness.
Plus If I could sell this peice of crap gun they sell I would and never buy anything from them again.
I hope someone forwards this thread to them and in fact I will.
They stink and so does there customer service girls do , I bet they never even graduated grammer school and they have no idea how to talk or treat the people buying there goods.
Looks like there popularity is growing in a negative way and the truth is coming out about them.
Treat you customers like crap and lie to them the truth always comes out.
I have no stake in this because I really don't care for any of their products. I own a Baby Eagle and they were just lucky enough to be the importer for IMI. Is Charles Daly going to be importing the Barak and other IMI guns as well or is that still unknown?
Hmmm, interesting, a few months back I ordered grips and the fiber optic front sight post. They arrived less than a week later and the sight was too small for the dovetail. They sent me a new one that had been peened so it would fit better with some other goodies. Seems we had 2 different experiences and I will definately be ordering from them again. As for selling your gun, I see them at the shows getting sold all the time, shouldn't be too hard.
I had a totally different experience every time I've dealt with Magnum Research, but had your type experience with KBI/Charles Daly.
My question was about my older Baby Desert Eagle 13 round mags being interchangeable with a new BDE II with rail that I was considering and bought from online.
I first asked if anyone on AR15 knew: http://www.ar15.com/forums/topic.html?b=5&f=4&t=80847 –– "Are Baby Desert Eagle (Standard) 40 s/w mags interchangeable with Baby Desert Eagle II model WRS?" but inadvertantly put it under Handgun General instead of here.
From suggestions called KBI/Charles Daly and the customer service guy was absolutely no help, plus as soon as I said 'Baby Desert Eagle', he said, "We do not deal with THOSE (Desert Eagle products)!"
On the other hand when I called Magnum Research (thought wrongly they were out of the DE business), the customer service person was great. He checked with his gunsmiths and cross-checked serial numbers to make sure and told me that indeed the 13 round mags for my old BDE were interchangeable with the new BDE II model WRS and new 10s in old. Also he said Magnum Research will continue to support and perform warranty work on Desert Eagles, smithing services, and provide accessories.
My personal opinion after talking with KBI is that Magnum Research might do better gunsmithing services on your new Jericho than KBI/C.Daly!
I orderd a recoil spring from "wolf springs"
got it 3 days later and it worked perfect on my compact eagle :)
Now thats service IMO.
