I think gunsamerica can be a little pricey. I was hoping for a batch of used LE trade ins. Way under 500.00

You're likely about 5 years too late for that. Unless they are completely ragged out, I don't see even LE trade ins going for much under $500 in today's market. Like new pre-lock / pre-MIM guns with box and papers are easily bringing over $600 now

+1. This. Look at the prices of any all metal guns now, auto and revolvers. They are skyrocketing in price.

I bought a really clean 6" a few months back for $400 from a individual, in the shops they seem to run $450 or a little better.

They'll bring at least $500 around here and wont be on the shelf for more than a couple of days........maybe a couple of hours.

In december I got a 6in 686-1 for $430 otd! I did not like the heft of the 6in barrel so I rebarreled it to a 4in . I love it! Good luck on finding a good 686 . Try gun broker.
