why are they so expensive? i found a threaded barrel for my glock for $115 dollars but cant find one for less than $250 for my xd?

Any good brands to look at anyway? I'm looking for a threaded XDmc 40 barrel.

We use Barsto, but we can thread any barrel.

i juat dont see how the barrels can be that much difference. even if they are 30 years difference in release dates.

Thats because Glock has HUGE aftermarket.

Im a big Storm Lake fan.

Also depending on your barrel, you might be able to get a factory 5" barrel and have it chopped and threaded to fit a 4" model.
But at that point you are looking at the same price.

Barsto charges the same for a Glock and XD Barrel. The longer a product is out (ie the more there are available) the more people make parts for them. The high end barrel makers generally make product long before the lower end makers add them to their product lines because they only make money by sell a lot of units.
