XD 40SC with 9mm barrel / conversion...reliable enough for CCW?
Question sums it up. I've got an XD 40SC that's my CCW weapon. I just purchased a M&P9C, and I'm thinking of putting together an AR9mm upper. I'm looking at ammo usage, and of all my calibers, the -only- gun that runs .40 is the XD. The rest can feed multiple guns I have in that caliber. I don't really care for having this "oddball" gun and "oddball" caliber.
If I put a 9mm conversion barrel in my XD40SC, will it be reliable enough for CCW duty?
