I'm interested in buying one of the Pre B CZ 75s and saw Wideners no longer lists them.

Does anyone know if they regularly re-stock the CZ75s or am I out of luck.

Thanks.

Hope you are able to get one. Love the one I picked up at Wideners a few months ago.

Couldn't beat the price!

Last one they had!

I'm going to pick it up now.

I traded for a CZ 75 Kadet earlier in the week, it's been an excellent week.

Complete pistol with the Pre B on top:

The shop had two CZ 15 rd mags that went in without issue but they don't drop free. The Pre B has a lot of character but it will be the perfect beater pistol and the SA trigger is not too bad at all. The DA action is stout.

Hopefully I can shoot them both tomorrow, work permitting.

I'd like to thank Chris @ Wideners for superb customer service.

Just so you know, the mags aren't supposed to drop free. It's a "feature". Easily fixed by removing a leave spring inside the magwell, bending it back in a few obvious places, replace, and enjoy.

And yes, Wideners is tops.

Anytime Maynard, Glad I could help you out on this find.

PA452,
It isn't looking good at this point, but if something pops up I will shoot you a pm 1st.

I didn't expect the newer style mags to even insert much less drop free.

It's not an issue either way.

I put 250 rounds through it yesterday with a mixture of brass, steel and aluminum cased ammo and it ran like a top.

How do you like your Kadet so far? What year is it?

I am very happy with functionality, the accuracy not so much. I'm not sure on the year.

I've only tried Blazer .22LR in it thus far and need to try some different rimfire flavors to see what shoots the best.

Overall, I'm very pleased with it.

Sounds good, thanks.

It's not a real high priority for me, I really shouldn't be spending the money. But, another CZ is never a bad thing.

The year should probably be stamped on your pistol. It will either by on the right side on the slide, right in front of the ejection port or on top of the slide (the moving slide, not the fixed piece). If it's on top of the slide, you'll be able to see it in the gap between the fixed piece and the slide. It will only have the last two digits, not a full year, like "10", or "09".

My Kadet pistol has it on the side. I just checked two of my Kadet adapters and they have it on top of the slide. However my pistol is an '02, while my adapters are newer.

My Kadets are very accurate, but I had something happen with the first one that I never saw in anything else before. When I first got it, I was shooting Remington Thunderbolts (very dirty, I know), and the bore became leaded to the point that if you looked down the bore it looked like it was full of mud. I don't know how the bullets were passing through the bore. I cleaned it up once, it happened again. I cleaned it up again and switched to a copper-washed ammo. At some point I went back and tried Thunderbolts again because I had a lot left over, but that heavy leading never happened again.
