Lucked out and found nice used High Power today.
I was at one of my local gun shops today and found a used High power in the case.
Seems like every time I find a decent used one they are always .40 cal.
This one was finally a 9mm they had just got in so it had to come home.
I ordered some mags for it and will be going to the range soon to see how she runs.
Nice looking pistol......what year?

Not sure it doesn't have the Portugal stamp on the side if that helps.
ETA: looks like a 82 if I read the date codes right it's a PY in the serial number.
I like it. Nice find.
Very nice. I was recently given a BHP barrel and slide, so I put them on my FEG Hi-Power. So now I have two and half Hi-Powers.
Very nice!
Very nice. Did you get a good deal?
Oh yeah, she's a keeper.!!!
I don't know much about Hi-Powers but that looks like a nice one. Congrats!
Looks to be in really great shape. Look forward to hearing the range report.

Paid 550 for it seemed like a good price most are going for about 600 to 800 around here.
Yeah, I think that's a pretty good price!
Very nice find at that price. I love mine to death... Got my first one in Canada, had it stolen in CA. Bought a replacement in CA in Stainless. It's a shooter, and easy to clean... :-) You should have a gun to shoot and give to a grandchild with that one.

FYI they never made a stainless Hipower...its either chrome or nickle plated.
I have one that was built in 1964 it also has the tiny sights but is very accurate. Are you going to get better sights or leave as is.
She's a beaut, Clark!
Very nice looking HP. Damn good price!
I have a Silver Chrome (hard chrome) model with signature Pacmyer grips.
I've owned three different HP's and two clones in my five decades of shooting..
The BHP is absolutely one of the finest handguns I've ever shot /owned!
Great score! BTW, the .40 is pleasant to shoot in the P35.
