I'm trying to decide on which Pelican case to order, the 1170 or the 1150. This is for a S&W 642 revolver and the 2 HKS speedloaders & 2 Bianchi speedstrips I have for it - so the case would have to fit all these items. I'm trying to get away with as small of a case as possible. I've drawn the length/width of the two different cases out on a piece of paper and the 1170 will definitely work. The 1150 on the other hand, is a tight fit and I'm worried about being able to get the "pick-n-pluck" foam setup with enough space between the items and the plastic interior walls of the case. However, since the 1150 is the smaller of the two cases, I really would like to go with that one if possible.
What do you all think?
