Beretta 950 blowing apart when fired
Hey guys, some of you may remember me posting here about this little Beretta I was inheriting. Well I got it, and took it to the range. Seems every couple of shots the barrel will flip open (as it is designed to do, but not during firing!) and the slide will then come off (again, as designed).
It is a Beretta 950bs Minx, .22 short. My guess is perhaps the lug that holds the barrel down is weak, allowing it to flip up? Was pretty unnerving. I put it back together and fired it a few more times, when it happened again I promptly put it away!!
Any ideas?
