what ammo do you use for your rimfire revolvers?

i just got my wife a LCR in 22 ...

and we were shootin the old bulk remington golds today ...

cylinder was jamming (seemed like cases were being bent), and extraction was a b*tch most of the time ..

just lookin for some good recomendations .. trying to get her moer into shooting .. she LOVED the gun, but didnt trust it because of the issues ..

have to admit it was frustrating even knowing it was cheap ammo .. still thought it would cycle ok through a revolver ..

ideas on ammo?

thanks!

Rem goldens are junk in my opinion. For bulk I shoot fed red Walmart. To get her confidence up, shoot some cci minimags.

bulk ammo is cheap for a reason- my stand by in revovlers is cci standard velocity- no functional issues very consistent accurate and not very costly.never had a misfire with it.

I second the Wally-World Federal Value packs for bulk ammo. So far, it has performed way much better than the Remington Golden packs.

As a second thought, you may want to try some standard velocity ammo. I've noticed that the accuracy of my .22lr pistols is much better when I'm shooting the standard velocity ammo.
