I just inherited one of these from my grandpa
You know a good gunsmith I could use to get it looked over good?
Thats pretty neat.
Have you tried Snapshots (former dennys guns) in North towne?
Browning has a service center in Arnold, MO and they service all the FN guns IIRC.
My old man has one very similar that he carried daily from the early 70's right up to the early 90's when he switched to a Beretta 96.
Does that one have the Nazi markings as well?
Just picked this one up, all matching and nazi marked. I just cleaned it up and shot it. Little sucker is accurate.
have you taken it apart yet?
would a swastika be a Nazi marking, I haven't seen one on here but I am not for sure

Almost every part is marked with a German Govt proof and a nazi swastika. They're hard to miss. It's not hard to take apart, slide the little button near the muzzle , rotate the muzzle cap and pull it out. Pull out the recoil spring and rotate the barrel and pull the barrel/slide off the frame.
I didn't see any swastika's on it. I seen one that looks like an eagle

That is likely the Waffenamt or Acceptance Proof.
I've seen 1922 marked in many different fashions, esp. early capture models (weapons in the plant when seized by the Germans.)
