FNP-45 Tactical + Suppressor = gas in the face?......

There's only about 5-6 more firearms I have left to purchase for myself and the FNP-45 Tactical is one of them.

I have a SWR HEMS II and was wondering if anyone who has a suppressed FNP-45 Tac gets gas and debris in the face when shooting?

My most favorite pistol and suppressor combo I own is my Walther P99 w/ SWR Trident, but it has a striker and that leads to an open channel in the back that allows for a ton of gas and unspent powder to get thrown back in my face.... Resulting in a little bit of pain and dirty glasses.

How's the splashback on the FNP-45 Tactical?.....if any....

Mine has Osprey45 on it.....blowback was much better than my Glock/Trident9 combo. I didn't really notice much at all to be honest with you. Definitely one of my favorite guns to shoot and often my CCW piece...Crossbreed Supertuck holster!

Wow really, you carry that big pistol?!?

I know that crossbreed Holsters are good but to hide that very large frame, good job!

About the gas though, your Glock is striker fired and it also has a channel that let's tons of gas through.... The FNP45 has a hammer and just wanting to know if there is any gas that gets through.

When you compare the two.....I feel little bits of I'm guessing un-burnt powder and gun oil with the Glock and virtually nothing with the FNP.

I can carry the FNP in the Crossbreed holster wearing slacks and a tucked in button up shirt without issue unless I bend down to tie my shoes. My Glock fits the same holster nicely and I can wear a large polo shirt and slacks with the Glock without issue....Glock 17 btw.

Osprey 45 on my FNP Tactical here, not much gas in the face at all even when shooting wet.
