Hey guys, looking to get a dump pouch since SKD is having a sale this weekend. Searched and couldn't find anything. What's the best dump pouch available at SKD right now? I've heard great things about the RollyPolly, but the Tactical Tailor Fight Light pouch is cheaper... anyone have insight?

well, my favorite dump pouch ever is the CSM, and looking at SKD, the marz tactical one looks to be a copy of it, so thats my .02.

I love the Emdom. Its a great size, and the rigid support backing is awesome.

I came in to post this. It doesn't roll up but I really like the way it stays open and the half-flap that keeps stuff from bouncing out. You'd want it on a side if you expect to sit much with it, but when you're up and around it's just as handy as it can be.

I have no experience with dump pouches, but I think the mesh of HSGI's Mag-Net is ingenious. My brass bag is mesh, and it's damn convenient to shake out all the dirt before I pack up to head home. 'Twould be a great idea on a dum pouc, I s'pose.

I agree with the poster above. Emdom is my favorite out of the ones I've tried.

I've been wanting to try the Emdom for a while but have the Tactical Tailor pouch and have no reason to get rid of it. No thrills pouch, it just works.

It's on sale right now at Grey Ghost for 20$.

I've used the Maxpedition Roly Poly ones. Was never really impressed with them. I have a BAE systems USMC issued dump pouch now and love the thing to death.

Please do, I bought one and it came in Thursday, looks like some good gear. I run an ak and it fits my 74 mags decently well.

A piece of 550 cord through the drainage hole at the bottom fixes this issue.

Also, the Emdom one is made in the US.

I also like the ATS roll-up dump pouch, but SKD doesn't stock it. It's a lot like the Maxpedition one, except it's made in the US.

Relevant to my interests.
I'm a cheap bastard, run a SAW pouch as a dump.
Plastic inserts keep it from collapsing and the Velcro on the flap keeps it closed without having to use the snap that's on it.
Wouldn't mind getting a nicer one that rolls up tho.

Unless something has changed recently, Emdom gear is not made in the U.S.

OSOE just started making some nice looking roll up dump pouches. They aren't on their website yet, you have to see them on their facebook.

Wow, I can't believe I fell for that one. I usually go out of my way to make sure that the kit that I wear on deployment is made in the USA (or Canada). Although the Emdom stuff is of good quality and I haven't had any issues with any of their gear, I won't be buying any more Emdom stuff. I guess the name "Emdom USA" kinda threw me off.
