Magazine Identification? Thought it was Ruger MK, but doesnt fit....

Bought this for my dads Ruger, but it doesnt fit, looks just like the MK magazines, but the little depressing thing is on the wrong side.... The thumb thing to pull the spring down.
What could it go on? What else is similar to the rugers?

The side for the knob is different for the MK1 and the MK2/3 pistols.
It should be reversible if its make for the newer pistols.

shiny bottom should be a ruger standard and early MK1's.
