me and the scoremaster go wayyyyy back. My dad was given one when he was 16. I found it rusting away in a closet when i was a teen and my father and I finally got to restore it when I was 18.
it shoots 1-1.5" all day at 100yds.
I am always on the lookout for these lil gems and yesterday while picking up my AR pistol lower I got a little heart skip when I saw this 511 in the rack. I asked the price....$110...I said go ahead and just tack that onto the bill

.
looks original, no mag but I have two from Numrich already. I'm a lil kid again! it has the scope dovetails and today it's time to go get a lil glass for it and see what it can do. Then me and dad will have a shoot-off.
The barrel is slightly longer and the stock is a tiny bit longer. It's in reat shape. these go for $250 all day. I'm stoked :)
A quick look at the date codes: my dad's was made in June, 1965 and this one was made in April, 1956. wow!

Great deal! I paid 240 for mine with 3 mags and a weaver .22 scope. great little rifle.
sweet, I just found my old scope and rings setup from my 511-X in the vault. its windy so i did some 25yd stuff in the back yard real quick....im
