7.5x55 swiss
Can someone direct me to a place to buy some 7.5x55 swiss. I just bought a k31 and would like to shoot it soon.
If Ammoman (in your home state, thinking pickup) is out try www.dansammo.com they have decent prices on GP 11 and they are outside of Pittsburgh so the shipping isn't too bad. Very easy to deal with.
I got mine from Samco for 230/480
Way back when I got mine from
AIMSurplus but looks like they are sold out.
In addition to what's been posted, you could also try
Widener's.

I would buy some Wolf Gold and a reloading press if you plan on shooting it more than just occasionally. I have no use for Berdan primered ammunition (swiss GP11).

If you did want to reload, dagammo does carry the Berdan primers.

I believe they do. Wolf Gold seems to have wider distribution though, and I think their 7.5x55 Swiss ammo is actually made by Prvi Partisan.

Powder Valley and Graf's & Sons also have the TulAmmo KV762 berdan primers.
FWIW, I've reloaded the Swiss GP11 brass and it works fine. I haven't tried it with the TulAmmo primers yet, as I still have a few PMC berdan primers left from a few years ago when they were still importing them. I suspect the TulAmmo will work basically identically, as the PMC primers were also from Russia and I suspect may have come from the same plant.

yes, Wolf Gold is made by Prvi.
I"ve bought GP11 from Wideners, Samco Global, and JG sales. All appear to have it in stock at this time as well.
If you did want to convert GP11 to Boxer, here is a how-to. Not for beginners, but doable.
