Inherited knight bighorn - no m/l exp - no 209 - worth keeping?
I just received a knight bighorn and I have no m/l experience.
It came with no nipples and no other docs/parts besides what is on the gun.
It does have a bolt and breech plug.
Should this have come with 2 nipples? One for #11 and one for percussion caps?
It appears I can purchase replacement nipples for $12
Is it worth buying the 209 conversion ($80)? I would also get the Breech bolt with this purchase.
Any help would be greatly appreciated!!
It should work fine with the #11 or musket nipples, but the 209 should give you a little bit more reliability.
I upgraded a tc thunderhawk from #11 to 209 and am very happy with it.
