What does approved F1 tax stamp envelope look like?
I want to make sure I don't throw it away by mistake thinking it is junk mail. Does anyone have a picture of the envelope they can post?
You seriously don't open your mail, and just "throw it out"

If it looks like junk mail, I toss it without opening it.
The form 1 address information that you completed will show in the envelope window. It is a white envelope with DOJ return address. You can't miss it.
Recockulous.

Just a recommendation...if you have something pending with NFA Branch, and you're awaiting a letter from them, don't throw away things that could be the letter.

^^^Pretty simple, this thread has to be a joke.....
not sure if this is a joke or not.
But I watched a dumb ass dig in the dumpster, in the rain, for his paycheck.
He threw his check on the Floor board of his car, them 1 hour later cleaned out his car.

All of this. The return address is in all blue and it looks pretty official.
Its pretty easy to spot, I mean, the return address is the DOJ, written in blue lettering.
It looks line junk mail.
It does not look like junk, it comes in a publisher's clearinghouse envelope.

Very non-descript envelope - keep your eye peeled.
I'd change my routine until you get it.
I threw away my W-2's a couple of years ago due to "auto-junking" - have since mended my ways.
They typically mail your stamps in Publisher's Clearinghouse envelopes. That's so no one will steal them. Very clever, actually.

You kidding me... right ?
Thanks. That would be pretty hard to miss.
Dang it. I was opening every Capitol One credit card envelope for this past month for nothing!

Maybe you should look at your mail?

You all think it's funny, until it happens to you.
I bought a machine gun from a guy in-state one time. Upon approval, he called and said he had received the approved paperwork, so I headed over to his place. He had put the envelope out on the coffee table, so it would be right at hand when I got there. In the mean time, his wife decided to "straighten up" a little. By the time I got there, there was no envelope to be found.

(no, I'm not making this up).
He looked for an hour or so while I was there. And then he said he would continue looking. The next day he called, telling me he'd found it. It took him until 5:00 AM to do so.
So yeah - it does happen.
