 Suppressor transfer question

I'm looking to buy my first suppressor and I think after extensive research I've figured out what I want and how the process works. But I do have a question:

What are you guys/gals being charged by your dealers for the transfer itself? I'd like some idea of what to expect and what is, or is not, reasonable. Thanks for any help offered.

My last dealer charged $100 flat rate for any NFA transfers.

If you purchased the NFA item directly from him, there was no transfer fee. Just the cost of the item + tax.

$50-100 is the going rate. There are some great and inexpensive dealers in Texas, IM me if you need some recommendations.

I pay $50, but my dealer is a kitchen table dealer with no overhead.

If I was going to a shop, I could see $75-$100, but $100 is a bit out there for me.

Mine charges $100 for a MG transfer, $50 for a suppressor.

Buy from dealer that already has it in-stock.

If not possible, more than $50 is a ripoff. Many are $20 or so. Of course, how far you have to drive at $4/G needs to be factored into the cost.

I just bought a can last night that my dealer had in stock. I was planning on ordering it online to save a few bucks, because he only charges a 50$ transfer fee. But after debating the 1-2mo wait for the Form 3, his price didn't seem so bad

One thing to think about is that it may be worth it to you to pay a bit extra to have a dealer with a range to facilitate the transfer. That way, you get to play with it while you wait for your Form 4. I would have done that (would have been 100$ instead of 50$, and a bit further away), but I'm waiting on a Form 1 to SBR my rifle before attaching the suppressor anyways.

Definitely something to think about.

Many thanks to all who responded by either posting and/or IM. Y'all pointed me in the right direction and it is appreciated.
