Im not delusional about an under $500 piece of nightvision but its in the budget and I want the capability..can anyone give me any info on the ATN Aries 350 night vision weapon sight.

You're far better off with a pvs-2 or other older triple cascade systems in that price range (zeiss orion or 1pn34 if you can find them) if you can figure out a way to mount it is the main issue. The simple version is that modern commercial units have 1 gen1 tube, the older systems used 3 staged tubes in series to generate enough amplification to actually work. Do some actual research here or elsewhere before you buy...

Yup, PVS-14 can do that. Some other mono's as well.
