A friend of mine just sent me a price list for some guns being sold off by an acquaintance of his. Condition on all is unknown, but my friend says they all appear well maintained. I already know some of these are steals almost regardless of condition, but I'm not sure of some of the others.

Springfield M1A Loaded .308, Walnut - $650

4 M&P9s $275 each.

Savage Model 11 - $400

Sako 85 Grey Wolf - $800

Browning Belgium Safari .22-250 - $980

And a case of 6 S&W revolvers, various models, all for $450 each, but one is the 629 Stealth Hunter .44. (Definitely probing for more info here)

Thanks for any advice you can give.

+1 on the M1A.... that is a steal. Even a beat to crap one would cost at least $650.00.I'd buy it sight unseen.
See if you can get a S/N
And at the price of those M&Ps I'd buy at least one. Along with the Stealth Hunter

I was considering one of the M&Ps, but I already have one and unless one of them happens to be a M&P9L, or a full-size in like-new condition, then I'll probably pass.

By tomorrow night I should have pics to judge condition and a more detailed list of the revolvers.

You could easily flip the M&P 9's and make $50-100 each. I'd probably get all the handguns and the M1A if you have the cash.
