Who does custom suppressors?
I've got a few and honestly want to suppress my 9's and 7.62 cal rifles before I do this. However, I have a .375 H&H and honestly, I would like to suppress it. I know the can is going to be huge but I don't right much care. I would carry it in a pouch on the way to my stand and then attach it once set up for my hunt so I'm not lugging around a 10lb rifle plus a can that weighs a few more pounds.
Anyway, I'm curious to know who makes one off suppressors for a reasonable price? Reasonable being around 800$.
A one of for less than 800 is tough.
Maybe try an oil filter adapter?
MSRP of $75 +200 stamp.

I doubt this is a big a job as you think. Find a manufacturer that makes something close in centerfire, they can open up the bore diameter to just above .375 for you. Maybe someone who makes a .338 LM can modify for use in .375.

just might try that. I'll shoot YHM an e-mail and see what they say. I doubt they'll do it though. I see that thunderbeast makes a .408 can and they say a .375 can be used on it. However, I would rather not go overbore like that similar to a 7.62 can on 5.56.

been following the thread in GD since the get go. I seriously doubt that a oil filter will take the abuse of a .375 H&H round. I do however want one of those for my SBR Draco.
I want one not only for cost effectiveness but for sheer value.
<$300 OTD is very cost effective. Who gives a fuck about baffle strikes? Get a new oil filter!

Which is why I want one for my AK since the threads are way off.

No, the thread adapter/endcap is what is serialized. The oil filter is the baffle stack. One you "get a strike" you replace the baffle stack like you would on, say, an Osprey.

Edited my post..
i will 2nd - shark suppressors, but $800 limit takes that out of contention,...
save up a few more bucks & do it right
will prolly be closer to 1200-1500 for a custom, maybe you'll get lucky though
have you looked @ SH or ST?
i recall some posts of peeps trying to figure out pressure for making a 375 can

The latter, not the former. Seems they figured out the pressures. Never saw anything else.

The problem is you cant replace a baffle stack unless you have a SOT do it, so once you blow out the first filter you would need to get it replaced by a sot.
jeeze some of these atf rules are stupid
I do like my 375 can on my 375 H&H
.

Spill it.

It's not a baffle stack though.

I think these guys are gonna get their peepee smacked when it comes down to it though.
Hughes Precision in Michigan does custom suppressors and are very reasonable. IM me for the contact info.
I dont know if they'll still do it, but liberty suppressors used to build custom cans. I have one and a buddy has several.
built to my specs. I got to "name" it and pick the serial number too.
If you want a custom suppressor for a caliber, save up your money, do it right and eventually get it.
If not, you are stuck in the dilemma of 'too much can/volume for bullet size'.
I understand your desire to go ahead and get it with the nfa wait getting longer and longer...........
but if you are going to do it, do it right.

They still advertise that they will make just about anything you can dream up. The closer to existing designs, the cheaper it will be.
