I'm happy with the R&D & Innovation that resulted from higher prices motivating investment by manufacturers. I'll take my (in my mind) superior construction & noise reduction.

Agreed- the plastic internals some of these have would yield crappy performance.

The reason why cheap, quality compromised, sound suppressors are not successful here is the $200 NFA tax. The $200 tax pushes everyone into the quality over low price camp, because even a $60 sound suppressor costs $260 to buy.

Agreed! There are some small companies making some really good stuff for reasonable prices here, so I can't really complain.
