Is there any reason to consider the AAC SR5 over the M4 2000?

I considering my first suppressor and would like to find out if the SR5 offers any advantage the best can or use on a 16'' carbine.

At this point no. The SR5 is an unproven system and has yet to see any time in actual dealer and customer hands. Until I get real world reports and my dealer gets his hands on one to play with I wont even consider buying one.
There is nothing wrong with the M4-2000. It's a great can.

No. The M4-2000 is near the top of the food chain.
Until testing is done on the SR5, I'd stick w/ the M4-2000. The SR5 90T mount may or may not be better. Who knows? As to when it'll be in dealer hands...who knows? You'd probably be looking at next year for sure before it's in your hands...then there will be a SR5 Gen2...haha. Buy the best or what you can afford right now and don't look back. I could wait for the Iphone15, but I'm pretty happy with my Iphone right now.
