Requesting pics of a full size UZI with a Gemtech MK-9K vs. a Gemtech Mossad.

Can't make up my mind. Maybe I'll just get both!

Rather than fit a barrel-nut-specific suppressor I'd suggest 3-lugging the barrel with a matching barrel nut so any 3-lug can can fit. Or a suppressor with removable mount that can be changed from 3-lug to Neilson device (LID) for use on a pistol as well.

I really like the MK-9K...

I like the modern, fast, positive 3-lug attachment.

I like the pronounced stepped profile the MK-9K gives the overall barrel profile. It gives an obvious suppressed look vs. a UZI carbine look.

I like that the MK-9K can be disassembled for cleaning.

I like the shorter overall length of the MK-9K.

The downside is the need to customize each barrel with a 3-lug.

Gemtech makes them with the uzi barrel nut attachment. I love my MK9K three lug,it's the best subgun can out there.

Someone makes 3-lug adapters to screw/loktite onto 1/2" x 28 threads, maybe TROS? Any machineshop can shorten and thread an UZI barrel, it is not a precision instrument. I 3-lug everything, some barrels are fat enough to cut the lugs into them (much more difficult).

Wait for it.... Gemtech makes a three lug that screws onto a 1/2 x 28 threaded barrel, too. That's how mine got three lugged.

And then you have to '3-notch' the barrel nut so it will slip past the 3 lugs or the two are mated forever (ask me how I know). Can be done easily with a dremel.

Gemtech did that for me, too.
