The loads were mild by Talbot standards, but as you can see there is still a LOT of energy delivery at the target. The gong weighs 52 lbs.

Damn good shooting. Makes me wish I lived out west so I could go out and set up a range in the hills out there. Unlike here in MO where I live. Best bet so far has been 600 yrds at Bench Rest Rifle Club. Lucky Dogs.

Nice shooting-well beyond my best(5 gallon bucket at 425 yards). A mile shot is something I'd love to try, maybe I'll have to hit up some of you Nevada guys when I'm out there for my brother's wedding(sometime next year).
