I like the Spyderco sharpmaker. Add the extra fine stones. A great system for about $70.

You can do a thousand searches and your going to end up with this. Get the Spyderco sharpmaker. Save your self the time.
Get the Spyderco sharpmaker and maybe a leather strop. DONE!!

For a pocket sharpener to throw in a backpack or glovebox, I like the Smith's PP1.

I have been using DMT Diamond stones and then picked up a Spyderco Sharpmaker this last weekend. I have to say that I really like the Sharpmaker but it is not for re-profiling, it is great for keeping an edge and touch-up though.

+1! Also works GREAT for serrated blades!
