I want one of these two knives and cannot decide. Logic dictates the
woodsman pro but my heart says get the
MUK. Any advice other then "get both" witch I cant afford. The knife will be my go to knife for all hikes, camping, bush crafting, etc..
I did get both. The MUK is a nice knife, and a great slicer. It also sits in the knife drawer most of the time. My Woodsman Pro rides in the truck with me, and it (or a Fallkniven F1) is my go-to knife for fishing, hiking, camping, etc. If I could only choose one, it'd be the Woodsman.
Hope this helps,

To elaborate a bit, I prefer the WP for a do-all knife for a few simple reasons. It fits my hand like a glove. It has a good thick blade which lends itself to outdoor tasks. I'm really not concerned about slicing ability that much when I'm out in the woods. I have arthritis issues, so using a tool that makes the job easier is of the utmost importance to me, and the WP fits that bill very well.
The woodsman's pro looks about right for a do all knife. I like that model alot.
Definitely a winner with either one. I would go with the WP.
