Is there a die that I can mount in a press to swage military brass?
Or are the free standing units like the Dillon super swage the only option?
The RCBS swager mounts in a press like a die. It's quite a bit slower than the super swage, but works relatively well. The ejector for it won't work in a hand press, though.

I had to make it work on a classic turret too. Not a big deal though. It's just a collar around the fat part of the ram and a washer around the thin. With the indexing plastic bits removed of course.
It was much faster to just use my chamfering too on the hand crank to cut the crimp out, but the primers start to seat easier on the swaged brass.
My personal favorite:
CH4D primer pocket kit
I bought the RCBS kit because I was feeling too cheap to buy the Super Swage. 7-800 cases later, I'm going to buy the Super Swage. The RCBS works fine, but its slow and I've got a few thousand more cases to swage.
Well I went ahead and ordered the Dillon Super Swage. Now my only tool left on me list us the Giraud trimmer before I cap my "sunk costs".
That's what I thought after I got both, then along came SS media tumbling... sigh.
It never ends. They keep coming up with really cool stuff you didn't even know you need!

What don't you like the RCBS?
RCBS swaggers kinda work. They work about as well as reaming.
Dillon will do it as faster and more precise

Dillon Precision's Super 1050 is another option

It's the option I like best, if I had to go back to doing it by hand I'd pull the powered Hornady reamer off the wall and use it. BTDT with the ss600 and RCBS and settled on the Hornady till the 1050 came along

Mostly that its really slow. For the price if I was only doing a couple hundred cases I'd be happy with the RCBS. But for thousands, the Super Deafening is worth it. FWIW I was at my local reloading shop this afternoon and they have a new RCBS bench mount swager like the dillon and about $20 cheaper.
I have the Dillon swage already... and I sort of want that.
Have to be VERY careful with the C&H, I've bent rims with it.

I've never seen the C&H in action. Anyone have a video of it?

I did the same thing but add pinching fingers if not careful to my list of RCBS dislikes.

Don't think so. To get primers seated, I had to put so much pressure that it bent some rims, and I seat primers with a Lee auto prime.
I still have it around here somewhere, I won't even gve it away like I did my RCBS to someone on this board years ago.
What about the RCBS swager that's setup like the Dillon one? Anyone give that a whirl yet?

I hope it sucks because I just spent $30 more on the Dillon one.

Just got my RCBS swager die today. Works really well, at least I think it does....first time I have reloaded anything
Did get my fat thumb once though...makes you wake up and pay even more attention

There is a toggled review thread about the RCBS swager.
You will have to go back some pages and find it.
The toggle keeps it out of the archives. toggle=green arrow next to thread title
