I rigged up some tinfoil to my microwave and cellphone today and was transported back to the late 80's. There was this truck unloading boxes into a gunstore on the side of the road and when the UPS guy wasn't looking, I snatched one and took it back to 2011...
100% NIB 905 series 20" all matching numbers Gun South A1, birdcage FH, roller carrier, all accessories (5 mags, sling, lens covers, sight tool, cleaning kit, muzzle cap) documents, and the box. It cost less than most used early model aug's.
Now I have to go shoot the shit out of it.

F OFF
Just kidding. That's awesome! Did you go with this guy?
That is freaking hilarious! He obviously has the hair to prove it. In my opinion the pre ban Augs are the better than the A3. I have a Gun South Import that I cherish. Have fun with her!
Ah.. I remember these. The AUGs cost 600 dealer cost back then.
The boxes haven't changed much. I had one new from the factory in a similar one (2010).

They are a little over £700 for the base rifle with one magazine these days. $1,100+ in USD.
Nice find, looks beautiful

I hope so, that's what it was made for...not sitting in a safe.
That rifle will always remind me of one of my favorite episdes of Miami Vice, Sonny was using an AUG like that in "where the buses don't run"
I wish could have one here in CA, nice score btw!!
