I Got The MSAR Blues....
Just heard from Ratworx who has had my E4 for about 3 weeks dues to a broken cam pin on the bolt. It turns out I need a new bolt and there are none readily available.....
If anyone has an extra one without wanting my right arm also, pls drop me a bone....I mean a line....
Shoot, I see they're out of their right handed hybrid bolts right now.

Did they indicate whether they would be placing another order for them? They certainly seem to sell them pretty well.
Chris told me they are scheduled to do another run of the hybrids but no definite timeline, perhaps another month or two is what he said...
Not that it fixes your immediate issue, but I noticed that Ratworx is now listing their own home grown bolt sleeve for the MSAR for $25, which is a pretty good deal.
I'd loan you my spare bolt but I just loaned it to GovPreston for his upcoming carbine class.
If you still need one by the time I get it back I'd be happy to loan it to you.

Thank you for the offer Tomac - I really appreciate it, and will be sure to let you know.
I just want to get a bolt so Ratworx can get my E4 up and running to make sure everything else is running in top shape. It really sucks to have your only rifle out of service for 3 weeks and counting...I'm missing all the opportunities to shoot rifle practicals and such...

Look what they had available in December:
Firing Pin With Spring $30
Used barrel without gas block $37
E4 Mags $30pair
Charging Handle Assembly, Green $10
New Piston $20
Used Piston $10
New Lefty Bolt $350
Used Bolt $45
Cross-Block retaining spring, (flat piece) $2
New Trigger Pack $375
Used Gas Regulator $17
and they said they had several of each part. I got distracted by other things and forgot to send him my order so someone else probably got what they needed. Luckily I already had more spare parts on hand than they did, both in variety and quantity.
There is a bolt for sale right now in the EE, rifle parts.
I also have a spare RH bolt if all of the other's don't pan out.
with all of the spare parts we all have we all together could start a new run of STG's and E4's!

I've purchased the bolt for sale on EE. Thanks for the heads up. Great bullpup board here-have learned a lot since 2009. . . .

That was for the original poster who REALLY needed a bolt , not just a spare. Apparently you havent learned the important things.

Look up in the thread. Tomac loaded him a bolt since he was also having problems and looking for one.
ETA - Came from this thread

From the pics in that link, it looks like he just needs an extractor and not a while new bolt, though I could be wrong. If that's the case, I've got a spare that he could have.
I've TWO MSARs that will be going through a carbine class in two weeks. After reading about bolt issues here I wanted to make sure I had TWO spare bolts on hand, therefore I picked up the second bolt in EE. I will be returning Tomac's bolt to him around 20 April.
