Sig 556 and Gemtech Halo
Aside from turning down the barrel is there any other way of attaching a Gemtech Halo supressor on my 556 Commando?
no. i turned down the area right behind the threads. using a steady rest and placing a demo f/hider on the threads, after removing the gas block. slapped the f/hider in the chuck, indicated the bbl with receiver behind the steady rest. a few light passes and now able to use the halo on every .223.
I did see an adapter, on here i believe that allows use of the halo without the f/hider adapter. the one end was a smaller hole threaded 1/2x28, or buy another collar and do some relief work to it.
