They've had it at the last two SHOT shows and it still hasn't shipped yet. Now they have pulled the PM version off their website too.

I have been wanting a 716PM since they first announced it. Now I'll believe it when I see it. It's vapor ware until then. They have blown every predicted ship date so far, why should this one be any different? Talk is cheap. Let's see the rifle in the stores already. A big SHOT debut has come and gone twice now.

If the 716 precision marksman comes out, I would buy one. That's a big if.

I'm glad they finally started shipping. I'm looking forward to reading the reviews once people get their hands on one.

The $2000 price people keep getting hung up on is MSRP. Actual retail price will vary and typically be significantly lower than that. Besides, how many other .308 piston driven AR rifles are out there for $2000 or less?

MSRP is around $1700 Sig told me this morning they shipped a batch out last week and will shipp anothe rnext week. Giv it time and they will be around 1500.00 when dealers get them in stock.

I saw one pop up on gunbroker this morning for over $2K. I'll wait until Buds has them in stock.

The first ones of any anticipated new model that hit gun broker always go high for the "gotta be the first on my block to have one" guys.

Look what the first SCAR and ACR rifles went for when they first hit gun broker. Hint it was a lot higher thna what the prices settled out to be whne thye hit the store shelves.

It exists! I held one at my local gun store (Green Top outside of Richmond, VA) this weekend, price was $1899. I went in looking for a 516, none in stock, but they had a 716 instead. Looked really nice and well built, it had BUIS and a Magpul ACS stock.

If you live in Hampton Roads, VA you can go to the Armory and see mine. I'll be picking it up after they get back from the Shot Show. The price tag on it is substantially under $2000.

So did anyone get one yet?

I'm looking to forward to hearing more about this. It's definitely on my list of things to get in the next few months.

Interesting, but I will probably go with either a Colt sp 901, or AR10A. The colt has the most interest to me right now.

I really miss the Armory, one of the things I liked about living in Hampton Roads was a good selection of gun shops. I also liked the weeknight IDPA at the NCRR.
