Hey everyone I'm looking for a little advice here. I've been searching the internet for months now trying to make a decision on a safe. I ran across this Winchester safe and it seems to have a lot of bang for the $$$. I searched but couldn't find any reviews on them. I need a safe as big as possible since part of the deal with the wife was that she could store some things in it as well I have looked at amsec and liberty as well but I have a hard time paying a lot more money for a reinforced door with 12 gauge sides. Anything is better than the wooden gun cabinet I have now but I would like to hear some reviews from anyone that has dealt with Winchester safes. My cash limit is $2000 so this one falls right in there at $1749 shipped if there is something better let me know. thanks

Its an RSC and a winchester. You could do a lot better as well as a lot worse.

ETA : Ive got a Liberty Fat Boy so Im in the same boat as you with the whole RSC thing.
Have you looked at Liberty? At the very least they are made in the USA and not China.

I thought winchesters were made in the us but I guess I was wrong. Good to know. I have looked at the liberty's and I like the fatboy. I might have to go that route

I was looking at this safe vs. a liberty fatboy. The Winchester is 10GA, and around the same size and price. I really like the "2 hr fire" vs "1 hr fire" and it is 200lbs heavier. I am highly considering the Winchester.

ETA: Well nevermind it won't through my bedroom doorway.
