I see them at the Dixie Classic and they have a tiny FB presence. Anyone own one of theses safes? How do you like it? FWIW I'm looking at a Sturdy Safe in comparison.
Thanks,
Sudboy
Ive got one and love it. Very sturdy at 1/4" steel all the way around. Customer service is excellent. 5 of my friends love theirs as well. Im on my phone nw but will be more than happy to write more later feom the computer.

I had one back in 2006 when I lived in Durham. I specifically went looking for Mr Drake when I went to buy a gun safe for my new home. The only reason I don't have it anymore is because I had to sell it when I got laid off a few months later and had to move. I sold it back to him.
I absolutely loved the damned thing, and it was built like a tank. Mr. Drake was a pleasure to deal with, and I, for one, happily recommend him.
In fact, if I could get my hands on one of his safes out here in MN, I'd be all over it like a rash.
No bells, no whistles. Just 1/4" steel all around, welded well and fitted such that a piece of paper cannot be pulled through the seal when closed.
Buy with confidence.
ETA: Watching Mr. Drake single-handedly manhandle that bastard off his pickup and into my garage, then the reverse (Mine measured 72" high by 60" wide by about 32" deep) using nothing more than a prybar and three steel pipes was a sight to behold. It also drove home the need to bolt these puppies to the deck once you get them!
If you ask him about the guy in Treyburn who bought a safe then sold it back six months later, he might remember me.
