NC NFA move question
I'll be separating from the .mil in 7 months and moving back to NC (CLT) area. I currently own two suppressors and one SBR all are owned my me and were approved/purchased while I was stationed in MT. I'm pretty sure I'm good to go since I don't have ang Full auto toys, Just want to make sure I'm legal. As I understand it I will need to notify the ATF via letter/5320.20 of my move.
All your stuff is legal in NC. You need to notify ATF about the move (for the SBR at least, not sure about the suppressors), but there are no state requirements past having proper federal registration. There is some debate on what exactly is required for machineguns in NC, but since you don't have one, that won't be an issue.
