SBR - Setting up NFA trust, sending forms to ATF, then moving??

My fiancee and I are currently shopping for a new house, so my address should be changing here in the next few months.

I'm going to be setting up a NFA trust, but I feel I should wait until we move because I think it would cause a problem with the paperwork. At the same time, I know that the wait is getting longer and longer.

Can I send in my trust and form 1 then send the change of address addendum, or should I just wait?

Thanks in advance!

what would you be doing w/ current residence? if keeping & renting it out, you could do paperwork now.
if leaving & not coming back.... wait.

or get a p.o. box for the trust & do paperwork.

any way you do it, there will be a long wait

Leaving and not coming back.

Never thought of the p.o.box! Didn't think they would allow that... Will look into that!

i know 7 people using p.o. boxes

forms already take p.o. boxes into account. if you use it for trust (therefore mailing addy for stamp), next field requires a real home addy.
so if you move, you can just notify them & update paperwork.

Your address isn't on the Trust.

i didnt say its listed in the trust ....it is on the forms

3b & 3c

when you fill 3b & list your trust w/ a p.o. box
you have to have real addy on 3c

If you are going to forward your mail to your new address, you would probably get it then.

he did trust & used p.o. box on 3B
w/ his addy on 3C
while he was waiting he moved.
he just submitted the 5320.20 after he got stamp back

I thought I would have to change my address while it was in underwriting.

Awesome! Got to get on all this b.s. and get my paperwork in!
