Caliber Question on 300 BLK SBR Form 1 / "Multi" Lower Question

Hey all, 2 questions on my 1st Form 1 with my trust (already have a Form 4 can):

1) I know this has been broached elsewhere (but I feel not fully answered), but what exactly do you put in the caliber box (4c) on the Form 1? Some options I've considered are:
300BLK
300 BLK
300 AAC Blackout
.30
7.62mm
7.62 mm
7.62x35
7.62x35mm
7.62x35 mm
7.62 x 35 mm

2) I know I can't use "multi" as the caliber even though that's what my Spike's lower has listed, and my other question is: will having "multi" on the lower be a problem since I have to put something different on the Form 1?

Sorry if this seems over the top or OCD, but I don't feel like giving the ATF any reason to prolong what will already be a ridiculous wait. They aren't exactly "fast and furiously" approving stuff... Thanks,

Tom

I use 300BLK when I form 2 weapons (07FFL/02SOT). I have not had any issues using this. The Multi marking is not an issue. Just fill out the form with what you intend the primary configuration to be i.e. .300BLK.

The Form 1 is for "making" the SBR, so that, by definition, means one barrel length and one caliber, not "multi" or "various" or "several". The Form 1 has no governance or applicability to what calibers and barrel lengths you convert to later after it is approved and made, so do not try to cram unrelated data into the application.

Spec the SBR on the Form 1 with one caliber, barrel length and OAL, then build that SBR once you're approved. Once it's built per the Form 1 spec, feel free to change calibers or barrel lengths 5 minutes later.

"Multi" on your lower means nothing, ignore it.

300 BLK is what is stamped on my barrel. That's what is going on my form 1.

Thanks for the help guys. I'm mailing on Monday with 300 BLK per this and another thread on 300blktalk.com. Time to start waiting!
