Thinking of going SBR route

I recently built my 16" AR but now I'm thinking of turning it into a SBR....
Is there anything I need to do or get for the lower/stock/buffer spring etc before I attempt the SBR project?
I'm thinking of getting a 10.5 barrel with 9in vtroy vtac rail. Not sure about the upper yet.
Any help would be good.

A form 1 with the tax stamp affixed.
I like to run a 9mm buffer in my SBR but YMMV.
