Well, I thought I was set on buying an AAC M4-2k until I went to buy it and realized that the 762-SDN-6 was the same price. I ended up going with that can because it would allow me to "upgrade" in the future. The more I thought about it, though, the more questions I have. Here's what I mean.
I have a 12.5" AR SBR and a Sig 556 SBR, both in 5.56. Do I really need two in 5.56? I am thinking I should butcher my AR upper and buy a new rail and barrel. What say you?
Cliffs:
1. Should I sell AR upper to put together a 300BLK upper?
2. If I decide to just sell my handguard and barrel for the 5.56, then all I need to do is buy a new rail and a 300BLK barrel...right?
3. All parts of 300BLK and 5.56 are the same except for the barrel?
Sell ar upper keep Sig buy 300blk. Sounds like a winner to me lol.
I would go for option B.) - Find some extra work and build a spare .300 upper with the extra money you earn.

That's what I'm planning. sans optic, you can build a good 300 BO upper with Noveske barrel and good tube forearm for <$900. If you go Magpul BUS instead of Troy and Wilson Combat instead of Noveske, you're under $800, close to $700.
