So I got my SBR out for the first time today - I was stoked until I went to shoot it.
It would shoot two or three rounds without a problem and then it would go "click" on some subsequent rounds. Sometimes I could drop the mag, empty the chamber, and put the same round back in and it would shoot, sometimes that same round wouldn't shoot after that dance.
None of my pins are walking out - I have KNS pins.
It happened randomly and I can't make it happen - it just has to happen on its own.
Any ideas?
Seems that it is 'stacking' , just barely stripping, loading and firing. After a couple/few rounds it can't fire because it isn't
completely chambered.
Could be a number of causes, will need more info to narrow it down, but if I had to guess, would say you're
a tad bit under gassed or are in need of a buffer swap.

Hm. I doubt it's undergassed as I'm running a can on it. The problem happens both with a can and without a can.
I will say that it seemed a bit more difficult to clear the chamber of these rounds that didn't fire. It offered more resistance than usual.

A "friend" of mine gave me some reloads that do that exact thing in any AR (not just the SBRs).
Never had any issues out of any rounds other than the ones my "friend" gave me.

Nick, give me a call when you get the chance. Your rifle actually sounds like it's doing pretty close to what mine was doing. I want a little bit more information about it though.
