What are older models REALLY worth?

About a year ago I picked up a 183 series mini for $300. It had the wood stock and hand guard, bluing is fresh, NO magazine.

I know this has nothing to do with price but, this rifle shoots fairly well, 1.25-2.5 inch groups with 50 gr depending on how well I can see the target with irons.

I am being offered a 185 series that has the wood stock and a ramline folder with it. Has the factory 5 round mag and a no name 30 rounder. "might have the scope mount around somewhere".

This rifle has no price tag on it yet. I am thinking another $300 mini might be in my future.

Whats the hive have to say about this?

I have the mini 14 fever right now and I hope it was not getting spoiled bu the one good 183 left out there.

BUT, I also own a brand new tactical......

3 minis?

Shit, I own 3 m1a's and 3 ar's.

This one would prob get the barrel lopped off and a troy claymore perm mounted. Then end up in a nasty stock of some sort.

Gun values vary from region to region.

I think Mini-14 prices are up from what they were in most places.
