Spare Parts for FAL?
If this has been adressed please give me the link. But what parts do you have on hand for your FAL. What have you had fail on your rifles. Where do you get your spare parts from. Thanks Keith375
I do not recall seeing this discussed. The one thing I have needed is the ejector block. I got mine from DSA.

What happened to require a new ejector block? Wouldn't have thought that was a breakable part really.

Believe it or not it was broken on a new weapon from DSA! It was a one piece block (old style) they replaced it with a two piece. The thing that was broken was the little piece that sticks up to kick the cases out.

I carry a spare bolt complete with FP, extractor, etc. The most common problem military armorers had was from troops that lost the firing pin retaining pin. Extractors will eventually wear out and firing pins break. Other than that, spare springs are not a bad idea to replace the 40-50 year old original parts. If you get a spare bolt, check that it headspaces properly.

Like others said, spare bolt parts.
Gas regulator sleeve and gas plug.
I had the regulator disapear(it split in half) and the gas plug lever came apart(out) of the gas plug.
Pretty well covered by previous posters. I always replace the standard metric pattern rear sight aperture with either an Argentine or Israeli "tombstone" type aperture. It makes the sight picture much clearer and crisper.
Thank you all very much. I appreciate your time and knowledge. I need to order some parts. I should have done this a while ago. Thank you all keith375
