50 round drums????
Just picked up new Shotgun News and advertisement on Pg. 27 for XS-Products "50 round drum" for FAL, HK 91 and M14 family weapons system. $290.00 on their website. Guys at DSA have been trying this design for at least two years (Knob Creek reports) with no sucess. Has anybody used these drums with any luck?
If you're talking about the drums made by Allied Armament out of Oregon, then these drums are good to go. I got one of the first G3 drums and it functions flawlessly. Rare for a gun company to get it right on the first run but Allied did it right.
I bought a crapload of 30 rounders from AIM for the price of one of those 50's.
