Anybody have much experience of these? I heard they have some sort of design flaw, but no specifics as to what it might be?
Thanks.
They had several, but one of the biggest was relating to ejection, and H&K wasn't honest enough to admit it.

HK just offered a low buyback on them, as opposed to actually fixing them? That was something I read on another forum. How poor is the reliability of them? Will they run well if kept lubricated, highly cleaned, and only loaded with HV ammunition, or are they universally riddled with problems?
Thanks again.
They would take it back for service then say it couldn't be fixed and offer you next too nothing for it.
HK270 would fire out of battery, and blow cases out the ejection port. Could not be fixed, was a design flaw. HK stopped sales, and if a blown rifle was returned to Chantilly, customer was advised it was not repairable, and was offered a new HK300 in exchange. All of these customers were happy with the exchange.
Best solution was to keep it very clean and lubed correctly, use high quality 22. If a left handed shooter, good shooting glasses are a must.
Better bet is to hang it on a wall and buy a 10/22
