Still no POF parts kits

I emailed Chris at POF again and they still have no idea when parts kits will be in.

they used to be called pakistan ordinance factory, hence my belief they were/ are from pakistan. check out their reviews, the second one down- it describes the difference between them and german HK pretty well.

I'd think that the delays have to do with relations with pakistan.
Just think about it.... we're buying gun parts from pakistan, look at the irony
The US side of POF is great, I love the boys at POF-USA, but the fact remains that pakistan is getting american money somehow, haha.
I just wish an honest american bastard would buy the stuff from pakistan ( Hint Hint ) and start making true HK clones from american steel here in the good old USA...
It can be done I think, hint hint.....
Need a co-signer at the bank... let me know

POF-USA will deliver, they are the only company I have come to trust during my RF5 build.... I trust them over anyone else in this whole deal, well besides IGF

The guys at POF-USA are great. I ran into them in the desert last year. They really let me shoot the HK 21E. It's the shit!

The problem with POF-USA is POF. It's almost impossible for them to give you a shipping date. It's even more impossible for POF-USA to give you a date on when they will have the kits instock again.
About the only time POF-USA has any clue as to when their shipment will arrive at their doorstep is when the US Customs agent or broker calls them to let them know that it was released by Customs.
So yes the POF kits will eventually arrive......But then comes the problem of finding a receiver to build on.

Doing a group buy on POF parts kits would turn into the same circus that the RF5 receiver group buy has turned into.
With POF there is no telling when they will ship the parts kits to POF-USA. There is also no telling how many they will ship at one time. Not to mention with Customs in each port siezing firearms related items it could be even a longer wait. Just ask CAI about the problems they are having with bringing in parts guns.
From the way the POF-USA website looks, I'd almost bet that they will be dropping POF shortly, seems they are trying to distance themselve, could be because all of the bad publicity about POF supporting insurgents etc...
