subject says it all...might be open to trades as i dont like to rule them out because something interesting occasionally pops up. shoot me an offer, and if possible, some pics of the kits being offered. if youre familiar with yugos, im pretty sure you know what im after vs what im not after. in definite need of original yugo rifles/kits (and/or barrels alone, but they must be virgin/excellent/superbly refurbished/comm bloc/chrome lined/cold hammer forged barrels - very special task for these) in the best possible conditions. however, the condition of the barrels could be less than id like, if some of you can perform one of these miracle clean jobs that i keep hearing about. the 'miracle clean job' for yugo barrels that ive seen before/after shots of, seems to, or gives the illusion of a minor miracle indeed taking place in the bore of the barrel. we shall see as soon as i can get some first hand feedback from someone here or that i know. heres a miracle clean job example - ive heard of fellow ak enthusiasts squirting a healthy dose of windex (w/ammonia) down their barrel immediately after finishing at the range, then using some kind of oversized bore brush attached to a drill/dremel type tool to hyper clean the barrel with before-mentioned ammonia, then rinse with warm water - immediately after, then use regular old bore cleaner with an oversized bore brush with the same amped up drem/drill to clean it, then rinse with warm water - immediately after that, clean barrel with warm water and soap, again with the super drill and oversized bore brush and drill, again rinse with warm water and then swab dry - immediately afterwards, soak a couple of cotton protection patches with rem oil or your favorite lube and ream it down the barrel to chamber on your favorite ak cleaning rod or punch and see what it looks like. make a couple of passes and it should be safe, sound, and in much better shape than you originally thought if youre not one to clean rifles regularly after shooting.

they rarely come completely clean in my experience, but the cleaning method mentioned before should be more than enough to remove anything corrosive or damaging from the barrel and to save some pitting and halt any kind of pitting processes already in progress. hell it might even return some of its former glory if it hasnt been completely neglected. i dont think its too unreasonable to hope that it might return some of that shine to those sewer yugo barrels, you might see some surprisingly nice rifling and not to mention the lands and grooves. may not even be able to believe its your barrel, no shit...ive seen it happen to two people they couldnt believe it, but at the same time, it looks like they had some truly shot out yugo rifles. anyways, this is a little long winded and off topic....if you have these and youre looking to unload them, please hit me with an offer. i have some stuff for trade that might interest as well. prefer matching kits, or non-match kits if you can do scrub jobs or sanitize (de-serialize, as in remove serial numbers, sounds sketchy but it just makes the kit unserialized like the virgin ones from the factory, no worries legally unless you scrubbing the main serial number off a receiver...which by no means is what im requesting or advocating unless you want a nice leisurely trip to club fed with all expenses paid courtesy of our wonderful govt) parts and engrave/re-engrave/stamp/re-stamp them, that would be downright righteous and i could guarantee a lot of business from people looking for custom engraving and stamping on their receivers and others who are also trying to force match parts. alright, i think that gets everything out...lets see or hear about some complete m64/m70 kits with great barrels. i know apex just got in some un-matching m64 and m70 kits, and thats great....ill possibly pick some of those up if i can find someone here to scrub and engrave (force match) the mismatched parts. so please pm me, post, shoot me some ideas and prices and stuff youd be willing to get rid of along these lines. thanks for everyones time and i appreciate all help in advance.
