Please let me know if anyone can assist me with providing a contact at Miami PD about a theft which occurred on the EE board. I thought I purchased a Romy G from cl007x. Up to that time he had 13 positive transactions and several hundred posts. I assumed everything was ok and a quick check on the internet showed he did live in Miami. After I sent him a USPS money order with delivery tracking, I never heard anything else from him. I ran a check with the post office and he cashed the money order at a Miami JP Morgan Branch 3 days after receiving it. After several emails from me and Dog1, he still hasn't sent my money back. I filed a report with the Miami PD. My concern is it's going to sit there. Please let me know if you guys know of someone I can call to try to push this along. I gave them the guy's address. Any thought or advice would be greatly appreciated.

Dude that sucks. I hate it when things go south on deals. What are the chances that he really had a heart condition?..I mean it is possible. Sorry I can't help you...but I would say that it may concern the USPS since a USPS money order was used. I've heard of them getting involved in fraud cases before. Just a thought.

Not going to happen. USPS is NOT going to get involved for less than $100K. THAT came from a US Postal Inspector... on the record ... for a legit/documented case of fraud.
And if any Postal Police call BS ... Please feel absofrigginglutely free to eMail or IM me. I'd just LOVE to talk to you.
