Best Universal Sight Pusher
I am looking at replacing sights on several brands of guns - Glocks, Smiths, Ruger and maybe some others down the road. I am leaning toward Tru-Glo Fiber Optic Night sights or the Ameriglo I dot pro night sights.
If I get a tool, I could more than pay for the tool by doing the sights myself. I was leaning toward this tool
Kaiser Uni-200L
I was considering the MGW universal sight tool but I read that it didn't work well with the Tru Glo sights
Any insight, suggestions or better ideas would be greatly appreciated.
The uni-2ool was junk. I bought one to replace some glock sights and it wouldn't push them out. I also tried it on my XD, USP and a friends 1911. Wouldn't budge any of those sights. I ended up shipping it back to brownells for a full refund.

Thanks, I really appreciate the info.
I have used MGW sight pushers before but only on stock M&P Novak & Warren Tactical sights.
Novaks were easy, but the Warrens however took some fitting. The front post always went on easy, but the rear was harder than anticipated.
There is always a second hand market for sight pushers also, so I'd buy the best available (within reason), and sell it after I was done using it.
I have never been a huge fan of tru-glo anything, so I have no idea as to them working well with a MGW or not.
No experiance with the tool you are looking at, but I can tell you the MGW tools are first rate.
A gentlemen from Ameriglo (I think the owner) told me to get the MGW sight pusher.
Not sure if that is a universal one or not, that's back when I had Glocks.
I got this one and love it.
