Josh Mandel is running!
Got a email from him stating his intention to run against Sherrod Brown for his Senate seat. Hot damn! If you wish to
support.
Awesome!

Sherrod Brown is a cunt of the highest order.

I guess he must have decided earlier, or thought there was a strong possibility he'd run to be on the ballot. He just made his official announcement the other day which is why I asked. I'll definitely vote for him Tuesday.
mandel won the primary spot,

..so he'll be the one to go against sherrod brown

Glad he won as Brown needs to go. I guess we'll soon find out how serious a threat Brown takes him to be. It kinda sucks though that we have to lose someone doing a good job to D.C.. I wouldn't mind seeing Josh in the Governor's office someday.
I'll be absolutely voting for Mandel, but after hearing him speak in Akron, I'm not really enthusiastic about him as a candidate. I am really enthusiastic about getting rid of Brown however.

Didn't hear his speech. What did you not like?
Josh just got a big old endorsement from Marco Rubie on Neil Cavuto's 4pm FOX show! Yeah Baby.

I saw that. I liked how Mandel was highlighting some of the good things that the republicans have done in the last couple years. Nobody that I talk to ever knows about credit rating, the fact that doing very well in job creation nationally, or how we've improved our business friendliness. Ohio republicans need to all be hitting on that. I'm really worried about November, and it should be an easy victory for republicans.

That's because all the libtards work for our MSM.

November should be a big concern in Ohio. Unions are upset about 'right to work' proposal. They will be getting out the vote for opposition, and that should be good for all Democratic candidates.
Ohio being a right to work state would solve 80% of the states financial woes.
I hope like hell it is put into law.
This is a tough one for me. One one hand Sherrod Brown is an out-an-out liberal and I despise that. On the other, I can't in good conscience support Mandel. This guy has spent his ENTIRE life building his resume in order to run for political office. People like this, and I've seen and known plenty of them, are THE problem. They learn their whole life to play within the party rules, make compromises and eventually perverse the power they accumulate. They are in it for themselves, not us. This guy actually WANTS to be a career politician! Red flag, anyone?
What's worse is that the guy has NONE of the life experience that this country needs as the basis for us crawling out of this great big hole we're in. He has no experience outside of government and military reserves. I'm not knocking the value of that stuff but he has no real world work or business experience.
“All men having power ought to be mistrusted.” James Madison.
Those SO earnestly seeking it like Mr. Mandel are not worthy of it. Sorry, but that's how I see it.

i see your point, ..but i think that what is more important right now is what is in one's "heart", ...i sure don't like sherrod brown's values and the things he takes to heart... i think w/ mandel, at least i feel pretty confident he'd value the public trust and the consitution...
