Looking for a good range near Loveland.
So I'm finishing up my upper tomorrow and hoping to shoot this weekend. My parents have property in Adams county that I have always shot at and I use to go to target world occasionally to shoot. But being I now live 1 hour 15 minutes away from my parents now I'm looking for a closer place to shoot. (hopefully I can shoot more often this way rather than once every 2-3 months).
So my question where are the best ranges around loveland / Cincinnati area to shoot rifles. What are there fees? do I need to bring supplies such as staple gun, cardboard and posts. How long are the shooting ranges.
Thanks in advance andrew
Yep. Only place worth going to.

I was just there this weekend. Worth the effort.
Yep. I don't go often enough, but its the best around without question.
I'm just having a hard time justifying $200 in range fees when I can shoot for free, but the free place is 1.25 hours away

You have access to free fuel for your vehicle?
Have you ever been to Tranquility?
It's a free, unsupervised range off of St. Rt 32. The nearest town is Seaman,OH. It is usually a nice place to shoot, though it gets it's share of morons, just like every other free, unsupervised range. Tranquility has a few 25 yard spots and a few 100 yard spots, both have shelters over the benches. You can find info on the net as to directions. It is in the middle of Tranquility wildlife area in Adams County and operated by the ODNR.
Little Miami is definitely worth the membership fees and the potential waiting list for new members. They operate a wonderful facility.
One Shot (located) in Newtown is also building a world class indoor shooting facility. I am not sure on the status,I have since moved to Colorado. I do know that they broke ground last October. The new range is located on Roundbottom Road within minutes of Loveland. Last I heard, there was going to be several indoor rifle ranges,up to .50 caliber.
